Some insider airport tips for Denver International Airport:
🗺️ The layout for check-in counters and security may feel a little different due to construction updates in the past year. To catch you up, the South Hall security checkpoint is closed, but we now have both West and East security open on Level 6 with state of the art technology. You can still find United, Southwest and Frontier check-in desks on Level 6, but all other airline check-in counters are located in the center of the airport on Level 5 (where you exit the train from the gates on your way back)
🛃 If you don’t have TSA Pre-check or Clear, you can make an appointment through DEN Reserve to breeze through security. Make your reservation 14 days in advance for flights departing from 6a-9p. DEN Reserve can be found at West Security, is open from 5am to 5pm, and there is no cost to make an appointment.
✈️ Look for outdoor spaces in all Terminals for a breath of fresh air, fire pits, modern seating and plane spotting!
🚘 For airport parking, FlyDenver.com has parking lot status updates so you know which lots are open and which ones are full, plus info on daily rates, walk time and shuttle availability and EV charging.
🚊To avoid parking, remember the A Line Train from Denver Union Station to DEN is $10, free for folks under 19 years old, and $1.35 for seniors.
⌚️ Kill time before your flight and enjoy the many cool restaurants, like William’s and Graham’s Speakeasy behind the bookshelf in Terminal A.
