I’m headed to Mexico for a week at sea with Princess Cruises (quick recap), and I’m bringing my parents along for the ride! We’re hopping aboard Majestic Princess, sailing the Mexican Riviera: Cabo, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta from LA. Sunshine and warm weather, here we come!
To get a feel for Mexico, we’re gonna do some sightseeing, some snorkeling, and we’ll even try salsa dancing and salsa making! You can preview the shore excursions we experienced, or for a deep dive, watch individual tour videos: Santa Maria Cove Sail & Snorkel in Cabo San Lucas, Salsa & Salsa in Mazatlán, Mahajuitas Cove, Yelapa & Lunch in Puerto Vallarta.
A Day at Sea can be busy busy or easy breezy, whatever you’re in the mood for. There are a wide range of onboard activities on the ship—from live performances to putt putt golf to relax at the Lotus Spa. And don’t get me started on the food. Whether dining at the buffet or treating ourselves with specialty dining, meals are something to look forward to.
The Princess Cruise MedallionClass experience adds comfort and ease. With the best wi-fi at sea, we can stay connected. The Princess Medallion makes it easy to access our rooms with keyless entry (here’s my room tour), and getting on and off the ship is a breeze. We use OceanCompass to navigate around the ship and find each other. We make dinner reservations with the MedallionClass App. One of my favorite features is OceanNow, I can order drinks and food (and shop) “room service” style, and it comes right to me, wherever I am on the ship!

Nighttime is the right time to see a show by Chic Cabaret. Singers and dancers in flashy costumes perform cool choreo, acrobatics and beyond, with pop numbers in English and Spanish. 💃🏻🕺🏽
The property also features a mangrove and cenote on site. It’s not swimmable but it’s a neat change of scenery for sure.
My favorite was sneaking in a relaxing massage at Zentropia Spa & Wellness and enjoying the cool hydrotherapy circuit, such a treat! Take me back!
